Bushcraft Basics Course - Weekend

Service Description

This course is for those wanting to learn new skills or face a different challenge. Set in Blaydon, Gateshead, it is perfect as it is just outside of the heart of the North East. You will: -Learn different fire lighting techniques including friction -Make natural cordage -Source water and make it safe to drink -Find out about edible and medicinal plants -Prepare wild meat and cook it on an open fire -Use a knife and saw safely using different techniques -Erect natural and manmade shelters -How to find natural tinders -Make bread out in the field -Learn different fire lays -Natural navigation Numbers are limited to 16 adults with a minimum age limit of 18. A kit list will be given out prior to the course but tools and equipment will be provided. We encourage you to use the shelters you will be shown but sleeping in your own tent is also fine. Lunch will be needed on the first day but all food and drink will be provided thereafter.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel a course due to unseen circumstances or COVID 19 reasons, we are flexible that you are able to reschedule a course at a later date. We MUST have 7 days notice. Refunds are not available for no shows.
