Have you ever packed way too much gear and never ended up using it? We are teaching you how to multipurpose your gear and use it effectively. Avoid ending up with with achy back and shoulders while out on the ground, More kit, more weight, more fatigue, more chance of injury. We will teach you how to pack your gear properly and show you how to use your kit effectively. Our instructors will use the equipment as you build your confidence using it. Whether you are having a bushcraft jaunt or you're on the move, this is a course developed for everyone, regardless of your experience. Taught by our instructors that are still serving members Veterans of the British Army, using their real world global experiences and SERE qualifications. This course is based on the realistic environments of the UK and the kit an average person will have. You are welcome to bring the equipment that you will be using on the ground. Everyone is different and will use different kit, but we can adapt to teach you with what you are using. -Firecraft: Use different fire lighting methods, from realistic use of modern techniques to exploring the use of friction fires to understanding fire behaviour and how to maintain it in different environmental conditions. -Shelter Building: Learn how to construct synthetic shelters. Explore some Tarpology to dabble with. -Foraged, Wild & Brought in Food: Expand your knowledge of edible plants, fungi, and safe foraging practices, to then prepare for cooking. -Cutting Tool Skills: Learn how to use and maintain cutting tools like knives and saws to create other tools for use in the outdoors. -Water Collection: Learn how to safely find and collect water. Using natural and modern equipment to purify water to stay hydrated in the outdoors. -Cordage: Learning the using of modern materials and plants to make natural c -Campfire cooking: Learn a number of different techniques to cook your food. -Using Nature: Find, Collect, Use Duration: Friday 7pm to Sunday 12pm Course: Minimal Survival Course - Intro Dates: 5-7 Jun 26 25-27 Sept 26 Venue: The Hideaway, Martock, Somerset, TA12 6PQ. Located 1.5 miles from the A303. Take the exit for Tintinhull, Martock and Ash. What3Words: Screaming.Magpie.Occupiers Times: 7pm on the Friday - midday on the Sunday. Ages: All ages above 16 years welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel the event due to unseen circumstance you are required to notify Northern Limits Bushcraft and Survival as soon as possible. The following is the refund policy: 4 weeks out or more will result in 100% refund. Week 2 and 3 will result in 50% refund 1 week out will result in 25% refund We MUST have 7 days notice. Refunds are not available for no shows. You will not receive a refund if you remove yourself or you are removed by the staff due to any reason including misconduct, medical reasons, self withdrawal. This is not negotiable. If you are to cancel at any point prior or during the event, it does not effect your statutory rights.
