Hey folks, it's assistant chief instructor James of Northern Limits Bushcraft & Survival. I'm writing this blog as 'The Griz' is approaching very fast and myself and Grayzy are making every effort to research, practice and perfect current skills to survive effectively in the wild for five days. Within the next few weeks, we will be consolidating our training and preparing our chosen equipment for this challenge. I imagine this will be very testing for us both, mentally and physically but conquering the journey of struggle is the secret to success. Therefore, we must be on our A game to facilitate a successful survival experience for ourselves and complete all five days, gathering the resources we need for survival.
This experience for me is going to be the highlight of all my bushcraft and survival adventures, as this is a test, a right of passage and a means of credibility of my survival skills. I hope from this experience that I learn a lot about myself, as well as a few new skills and make some friends along the way. This is another stepping stone on my bushcraft journey and I hope that after you read this that you'll continue to follow us throughout and after 'The Griz', as Northern Limits has some exciting things planned for the near future.
You only live once, so live it in the woods.
